I’m a husband to an incredible woman and a father to two daughters I adore. My wife and I met ballroom dancing, and we still take every chance we can to get out on the dance floor. There’s something about the connection — physical, emotional, unspoken — that I’ve always loved. We’re also a family that loves to explore, whether it’s traveling somewhere new or finding beauty close to home.
I’m naturally quiet and reserved, the kind of person who stays out of the spotlight but deeply values meaningful connection. I love listening to people’s stories and sharing in their experiences. Photography gives me a way to honor those stories — to witness them, to hold space for them, and to capture moments that matter to the people I work with.
Boudoir is often misunderstood as simply “sexy photos,” but the experience goes far deeper for many women. It can be a space to reconnect with themselves — emotionally, physically, and personally — in a way that feels grounding and liberating. Every woman comes into the studio with her own story, her own history, and her own reasons for being there. My role is to create a space where she can explore that story at her own pace, with respect, privacy, and support.
I’ve seen how powerful it can be when someone sees themselves with clarity and compassion. Not because I reveal anything new, but because the session gives them room to recognize what has always been there — strength, softness, resilience, beauty, complexity. Boudoir can be a moment of confidence, self‑connection, or simply a chance to breathe and be fully present in their own body.
In 2023, I found myself searching for a way to offer something more meaningful through my photography. I spent a lot of time in prayer and reflection, asking God to guide me toward work that aligned with service, dignity, and compassion. At a photography conference that spring, I kept hearing photographers speak about the emotional impact of boudoir. Their words resonated deeply, even though I carried my own hesitations and questions about how this work fit with my faith.
It took time — and honest conversations with my wife — to understand that boudoir could be approached with integrity, respect, and purpose. Her support gave me the courage to step into this work with clarity and intention. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of photographing women from all walks of life: women celebrating milestones, reconnecting with themselves after years of caring for others, navigating illness, embracing motherhood, or simply choosing to honor who they are in this moment.
Every session is different. Every woman brings her own story. And I’m grateful for the trust they place in me to hold that space with care.
